Saint (Aziz) (translated)

Aziz is a Turkish series produced by O3 Medya that blends action, drama, and historical elements. Recai Karagöz directed the show and Eda Tezcan wrote the screenplay. It premiered on Show TV on November 5, 2021, and wrapped up after a single season with its twenty-eighth episode on June 3, 2022.

The events unfold in Hatay under French occupation. After killing a French officer, Aziz is forced to leave behind both his great love and his family home, only to return to his hometown once time has passed.

Murat Yıldırım plays Aziz, a descendant of the Payidar line, while Damla Sönmez takes on the role of Dilruba, granddaughter of the Paşazade family. Ahmet Mümtaz Taylan, Fırat Tanış, Simay Barlas, and Güven Murat Akpınar round out the cast, with most filming carried out in the Kaynarca district of Sakarya.
