Bad Blood (Kötü Kan) (translated)

Kötü Kan (Bad Blood) is a short-run Turkish series that began on NOW on September 6, 2024. Produced by NTC Medya, it mixes drama and action with a romantic strand. It ran for a single season of six episodes and ended with the sixth, shown on October 11, 2024, so its whole story fit into a schedule of about five weeks.

At its centre is Kartal, a former police officer. While working as security manager at a nightclub, he falls foul of a dangerous mafia group. When he is forced to move closer to the children he has long been away from, he faces a double struggle: trying to slip out of the mafia's grip while truly learning to be a father to them. Ertan Saban, Damla Sönmez, Hüseyin Avni Danyal and Levent Ülgen share the leading roles, and Savaş Özdemir is also listed in the cast.

Çağatay Tosun directed, and the script was written jointly by Barış Erdoğan and İlker Arslan.
