Dante 01

Dante 01 is a 2008 French science-fiction film by director Marc Caro, his first solo feature made without his longtime creative partner Jean-Pierre Jeunet. Co-written with novelist Pierre Bordage, the film is set aboard a space station orbiting a fiery planet named after Dante, which doubles as a psychiatric asylum and detention center where prisoners serve as volunteer subjects in experimental treatments.

The lone survivor of a shipwreck is brought to the station and gradually begins to display healing abilities, coming to be regarded as a miracle worker by the other inmates. The 82-minute film opened in France on January 2, 2008 and in Turkey on September 5, 2008, with a cast led by Lambert Wilson, Linh-Dan Pham, Simona Maicanescu, and Dominique Pinon; the name linked to the production in our own site records is Yunus Emre Yıldırımer.
