Yunus Emre Yıldırımer — Biography

Yunus Emre Yıldırımer is a Turkish actor with a theatre background who has built a lasting place in long-running television drama. He is best known as Şinasi in Fatih Harbiye and as Alparslan Çakırbeyli in Eşkıya Dünyaya Hükümdar Olmaz, and since 2021 he has played Korkut in Teşkilat.

Born in Siirt and of Arab descent, he grew up in Diyarbakır and graduated from the conservatory department of Haliç University; he married while still a student. On stage he worked in Kral Dairesi at the Istanbul State Theatre, in Tiyatro Hal's A4 and Yaka Beyaz, and with the Fatih Municipality Theatre Company in plays such as Tahir ile Zühre and Yanlışlıklar Komedyası. He reached the screen in 2007 with Hatırla Sevgili, followed by Evimin Erkeği and Sardunya Sokağı. The turning point came in 2013, when Fatih Harbiye, in which he shared the lead with Kadir Doğulu and Neslihan Atagül, introduced him to a wide audience; the same year he appeared in cinema in Selam as a teacher who travels to Senegal. He stayed with Eşkıya Dünyaya Hükümdar Olmaz from its 2015 start until the series ended, joined Teşkilat in 2021, and in 2022 played Emir Baykara in Adı Sevgi.

In film he has appeared in Somuncu Baba: Aşkın Sırrı, Bal Kaymak (2018) and Koku (2023).
