Days and Hours

Days and Hours (Bosnian title Kod amidže Idriza) is a 2004 Bosnian drama directed by Pjer Žalica from a screenplay by Namik Kabil. With a slow pace and somber mood, it portrays two elderly people who lost their only son in the war, tracing their loneliness, grief, and quiet endurance. Mustafa Nadarević, Senad Bašić, and Semka Sokolović-Bertok lead the cast; Sokolović-Bertok's role as Sabire was among her final screen performances. The film opened on 20 August 2004 and was submitted by Bosnia and Herzegovina for the Best Foreign Language Film at the 77th Academy Awards, though it did not reach the final nominations.
