The War of the Sisters-in-Law (Eltilerin Savaşı) (translated)

Eltilerin Savaşı (The War of the Sisters-in-Law) is a 2020 Turkish comedy directed by Onur Bilgetay and written by its star Gupse Özay. She is joined on screen by Merve Dizdar, Ferit Aktuğ and Uraz Kaygılaroğlu.

The story follows Sultan and Gizem, two sisters-in-law married into the same family, whose playful rivalry never seems to end. Both women are famously attached to social media, and their competing ideas about marriage and starting a family lead to a string of comic incidents. What begins with small jabs grows into an open contest over who is loved more, who will become a mother first, and whose baby celebration will be grander.
