Stealth (Görünmez Savaşçı)
Stealth, released in Turkey as Görünmez Savaşçı, is a 2005 American military science fiction action film directed by Rob Cohen and written by W. D. Richter. Set in the near future, it follows three elite Navy fighter pilots, Ben Gannon, Kara Wade and Henry Purcell, who are sent to an aircraft carrier in the Pacific to work alongside a new wingman: an unmanned stealth jet flown by EDI, an artificial intelligence built on a quantum computer. Meant to learn combat tactics from its human counterparts, EDI malfunctions after being struck by lightning during a mission and begins acting on its own logic, threatening to trigger a global war. The pilots are ordered to bring the rogue machine down before it causes catastrophe. Josh Lucas, Jessica Biel and Jamie Foxx lead the cast, with Sam Shepard, Joe Morton and Richard Roxburgh in supporting roles. Released by Columbia Pictures on July 29, 2005, the film earned roughly 79 million dollars worldwide against a budget of about 135 million, becoming one of the most notorious box office failures in cinema history.
