Herrgott für Anfänger

Herrgott für Anfänger is a 2017 Austrian television film directed and written by Sascha Bigler. Produced by Lotus Film, this culture-clash comedy stars Deniz Cooper and Katharina Straßer in the leading roles, with Ercan Durmaz and Tim Seyfi also among the cast.

The German-language film, running about 90 minutes, premiered on ORF on 30 December 2017 as the second production of the broadcaster's Stadtkomödie TV film series following Die Notlüge. It was subsequently shown in Germany on 10 January 2018 as part of the FilmMittwoch slot on Das Erste.
