Ho scelto l'amore
I Chose Love (Italian: Ho scelto l'amore) is a 1952 Italian comedy directed by Mario Zampi. The film stars Renato Rascel and Marisa Pavan, supported by a large ensemble that includes Nino Manfredi, Tina Lattanzi, Margherita Bagni and Carlo Mazzarella. It was produced at Rome's Cinecittà studios and also circulated as a French-Italian co-production under the title J'ai choisi l'amour. The screenplay was written by Achille Campanile together with Rascel and Zampi, giving the film a strong literary-comic pedigree typical of postwar Italian popular cinema. Running about 100 minutes, it stands as one of the light entertainment vehicles built around Rascel, a celebrated comic performer of the period.
