Images in a Convent (original title: Immagini di un convento) is a 1979 Italian sexploitation horror film directed by cult filmmaker Joe D'Amato and written by Tito Carpi. The cast includes Paola Senatore, Marina Hedman and Donald O'Brien. Set within the walls of a convent, the film is an entry in the "nunsploitation" subgenre and combines erotic content with harsh sequences of violence tied to demonic possession. It is also notable as one of the few productions featuring original hardcore material that cleared Italian censorship in 1979 and was actually screened in some cinemas across the country. The picture stands among D'Amato's more controversial works, blending pornography and horror in a single release.
