Paola Senatore — Biography

Paola Senatore is a retired Italian actress, born in Rome on 9 November 1949. Throughout the 1970s she worked across poliziotteschi crime thrillers, Italian-style sex comedies and giallo mysteries, appearing in cult titles such as Ricco the Mean Machine, Story of a Cloistered Nun, The Flower with the Petals of Steel, The Killer Reserved Nine Seats and Umberto Lenzi's cannibal film Eaten Alive!. Her filmography also includes specific roles such as Cristina in A.A.A. Massaggiatrice bella presenza offresi..., Madame Bruyère in Zig-Zig, Laura Elvize in Emanuelle in America, Ann Shimpton in Action, Paulette Maurice in Don't Trust the Mafia, and Onorevole Belloni in Erotomania. In Salon Kitty she appeared alongside Ingrid Thulin, Tina Aumont and Helmut Berger. Later in her career she took on softcore roles as well as one hardcore film. In September 1985 she was arrested on drug possession and trafficking charges and was sentenced to five months in prison followed by a year of house arrest; her acting career ended at that point and she has not appeared on screen since.
