If the King Loses (Kral Kaybederse) (translated)

Kral Kaybederse is an action-drama series adapted from the novel of the same name by Gülseren Budayıcıoğlu. It centers on Kenan Baran, an arrogant and highly successful construction engineer whose life begins to unravel after he cheats on his wife, following his slide from success to ruin. The story uses this personal collapse to explore marriage, betrayal and the loss of social standing. Produced by OGM Pictures, the show premiered on Star TV in February 2025 and, starting that April, also reached audiences dubbed into Arabic on MBC4 and the Shahid streaming platform. Running for two seasons, it concluded with its thirtieth episode in December 2025. The lead cast featured Halit Ergenç alongside Aslıhan Gürbüz, Merve Dizdar and Nilperi Şahinkaya.
