Mathilde

Mathilde is a 2004 drama film written and directed by Nina Mimica. It was produced as an international co-production involving the United Kingdom, Switzerland, Spain, Italy and France. The film stars Jeremy Irons, Nutsa Kukhianidze and Sinéad Cusack in the leading roles.

The story takes place in the aftermath of the war in Croatia. A young girl attempts to kill a UN peacekeeper serving in the region. The English-language production also features Dejan Aćimović and Svetozar Cvetković among its cast.
