On The Edge

On The Edge (original title La bella gente) is a 2009 Italian drama film directed by Ivano De Matteo. Starring Monica Guerritore and Iaia Forte, the film gained recognition when it won the Grand Prix at the Annecy Italian Film Festival in 2009. Despite this early acclaim, distribution problems kept it from Italian cinemas for years: it only opened in Italy in August 2015, while French audiences saw it in 2011. The Italian-language production runs about 98 minutes.
