Quantum of Solace

Quantum of Solace is a 2008 spy film directed by Marc Forster and the twenty-second James Bond film made by Eon Productions. Written by Neal Purvis, Robert Wade and Paul Haggis, the production is the sequel to Casino Royale; Daniel Craig plays the MI6 agent James Bond for the second time. The film's title comes from a 1959 story by Ian Fleming. A British-American co-production, the film was produced by Barbara Broccoli and Michael G. Wilson.

In the story, Bond investigates the truth behind the betrayal of Vesper, the woman he loved, and follows the trail of a secret organisation called Quantum. The pursuit, which begins with the interrogation of Mr. White, brings him together with Camille, who wants to make those who killed her family pay. The two try to stop the plan of Dominic Greene, who presents himself as an environmentalist entrepreneur, to monopolise Bolivia's fresh water resources.

Filming took place in Mexico, Panama, Chile, Italy, Austria and Wales, and the interiors were built at Pinewood Studios. The film grossed over 589 million dollars worldwide.
