Son İstasyon

Son İstasyon is a 2010 Turkish drama written and directed by Oğulcan Kırca. Ruhi, a railway official with three children posted to a small provincial station, is counting down the days to his retirement; his great dream is to use his pension bonus to buy a house whose roof does not leak and to live out his remaining years in peace. But the innocent hopes of his daughter Esra and his young son Önder for a better life suddenly pull the whole family to İstanbul. Once Ruhi arrives in the city with his wife and mother, the events that follow slip beyond anyone's control. Levent Kırca, the director's father, takes the lead role. Shot in İstanbul and Uşak, the film runs 110 minutes.
