The Wild Team

The Wild Team (original title: Squadra selvaggia) is a 1985 Italian action-war film directed by Umberto Lenzi, a prolific figure of Italian genre cinema, from a screenplay by Roberto Leoni. Shot in Italian and running about 95 minutes, the film stars Antonio Sabàto, Ivan Rassimov, Werner Pochath, Sal Borgese and Gabriella Giorgelli. The story follows a small band of mercenaries on a dangerous mission in the jungles of South America, where the team must contend with hostile forces and unforgiving terrain. The picture was released internationally under various titles, including Cinq Salopards en Amazonie in France and Hungrige Skorpione in Germany.
