Tricycle (Üç Tekerlekli Bisiklet)

Üç Tekerlekli Bisiklet ("Tricycle") is a 1962 Turkish drama, adapted by Vedat Türkali under the pen name "Hüsamettin Gönenli" from a work by Orhan Kemal and produced by Nusret İkbal for Be-Ya Film. Lütfi Ö. Akad began directing the picture but left before shooting wrapped following an on-set dispute; Memduh Ün took over the remaining scenes and the editing.

The story follows a wounded young man (Ayhan Işık) hiding from a murder charge who takes refuge with a washerwoman who has had no word from her husband in years. The cast also includes Sezer Sezin, Senih Orkan, Saadettin Erbil, Reha Yurdakul, Osman Alyanak, and Asım Nipton. The film won Best Film at the 1965 İzmir International Fair's 1st Film Festival, where Sezer Sezin also received the Best Actress award.
