W Django!
W Django! is a 1971 Italian Spaghetti Western directed by Edoardo Mulargia, with Anthony Steffen in the lead role. The supporting cast includes performers familiar from the genre, among them Stelio Candelli, Glauco Onorato, Chris Avram, Benito Stefanelli and George Eastman. Written by Nino Stresa and shot in Italian, the film runs about ninety minutes. It was released under a variety of titles in different markets: in Germany it appeared as Ein Fressen für Django, in France as Viva Django, and in Spain as Mi nombre es ¡Django!, while some territories knew it as A Man Called Django!. The German theatrical release in September 1972 used a version shortened by roughly twelve minutes. The picture belongs to the wave of Django-themed Westerns produced in Italy in the wake of the genre's international success, and it stands as a typical example of the low-budget Spaghetti Westerns of the early 1970s.
