Toygan Avanoğlu — Biography

Born Sabri Toygan Avanoğlu on 19 January 1979 in İzmir, the actor spent a year taking singing lessons at the Müjdat Gezen Art Center as a child and also played basketball for Turkey's national team. He began his acting career on the television series "Düşman Kardeşler" and made his film debut in 2009 with "Kanal-İ-zasyon".

He went on to appear in series such as "Güzel Köylü" and "Kuzey Yıldızı", as well as films including "Ayla", "Deli Aşk" and "Bursa Bülbülü", in which his portrayal of Dr. Fatih drew attention. He has also played the character Murat in the "C Takımı" film series and is widely recognized for playing Paşa in the sketch show Güldür Güldür Show.

In his personal life, Avanoğlu is married to Iranian-born personality Şiva Behrouzfar, with the couple making joint television appearances; he has also performed stand-up comedy shows.
