Alina Boz — Biography

Alina Boz is one of the best-known young actresses of her generation, noted for Netflix's Aşk 101 and for Mahur Türel in Maraşlı. She has since widened her work: in 2025 she joined the stage play Palamut Zamanı, written and directed by Çağan Irmak, and at the end of that year she joined Kuruluş: Orhan as Asporça Hatun. She is the daughter of a Russian mother and a Turkish father whose family emigrated from Bulgaria.

Born near Moscow, Boz came to Istanbul with her family at seven and learned Turkish there. As a child she spent seven years acting at the Barış Manço Culture Center; after commercials and magazine shoots she reached the screen in 2013 as Canan in Cesur Hemşire. The first phase was made of young female roles: Paramparça (Hazal), Kaçma Birader (Melis Kahveci), Sevdanın Bahçesi (Defne), Vatanım Sensin (Princess Anastasia Romanova) and Elimi Bırakma, where she led opposite Alp Navruz. The turning point was her lead in Aşk 101 (Eda), followed by Maraşlı opposite Burak Deniz. In 2022 came Bandırma Füze Kulübü, Bir Peri Masalı and Yılbaşı Gecesi.

She graduated from the Theatre Department of Kadir Has University, and her short film Adako, which she directed and produced as "Alina Evirgen", competed in the short film section of the 62nd Antalya Golden Orange Film Festival. In December 2023 she married director Umut Evirgen, and in August 2026 the couple announced they were expecting their first child, a girl.
