Aslı Bayram — Biography

Aslı Bayram was born on 1 April 1981 in Darmstadt, Germany, to a family of Turkish origin. She was crowned Miss Germany in 2005 and went on to represent the country at that year's Miss Universe pageant in Bangkok. That recognition led her into acting, and she went on to appear in both German and international productions, taking parts in 180°, Shanghai Gypsy and Body Complete, as well as roles in Woman in Gold alongside Helen Mirren and in Septembers of Shiraz. Alongside acting she has also worked as a writer. Since 2010 she has served as a goodwill ambassador for a crime-prevention council under the Hessen state justice ministry.
