Shanghai Gypsy

Shanghai Gypsy (Slovene: Šanghaj) is a 2012 Slovenian drama film directed by Marko Naberšnik. Set within the world of Romani characters, the film is notable for having most of its dialogue spoken in the Romani language. Reportedly among the most expensive Slovenian productions of its era, it had its world premiere at the 36th Montreal World Film Festival. The cast includes Emir Hadžihafizbegović and Turkish-German actress and model Aslı Bayram.
