Beren Gökyıldız — Biography

Beren Gökyıldız is one of the few Turkish performers who started on screen as a small child and stayed in the business into her teens. She is best known as Melek Akçay in the Star TV series Anne and as Ayşe in Bizim Hikaye, and she is still working in television and film.

Her career began in 2014, when she was chosen after the auditions for Fox's Kocamın Ailesi; her character, Pelin, won viewers over. A turn in Güldüy Güldüy Show followed. The breakthrough came in 2016 with Anne, where her Melek was central to a cast that included Vahide Perçin and Cansu Dere. Bizim Hikaye (2017), Kızım (2018, as Öykü) and Mucize Doktor (as Betüş) came next, and in 2018 she made her cinema debut in Bal Kaymak, playing Bade.

As she moved from child roles to teenage ones, she took on more mature characters in Çocukluk (2020, Mavi), Yeşil Vadi'nin Kızı (2023, Melissa) and Kopuk (2024, Azra). In 2025 she appeared in the film Köstebekgiller: Ata Tohumu Muhafızları. She is still in school.
