Buğra Gülsoy — Biography

Behiç Buğra Gülsoy (born 22 February 1982 in Ankara) is a Turkish actor, screenwriter, short-film director and architect who also works in photography and graphic design.

He first stood on a stage at thirteen and graduated in architecture from Eastern Mediterranean University in 2004. During his years in Cyprus he performed with the Cyprus State Theatre, made short films, helped found the Cyprus Film Association and served as designer and director of the International Cyprus Short Film Festival.

Unutulmaz brought him screen attention in 2009. He played Ahmet in Derviş Zaim's Gölgeler ve Suretler (2010) and became widely known as Vural in Fatmagül'ün Suçu Ne? on Kanal D. In 2011 he shared the lead of Kuzey Güney with Kıvanç Tatlıtuğ as Güney Tekinoğlu, and went on to Eski Hikaye (2013), Aşk Yeniden (2015) and Görümce (2016).

He wrote the screenplays for Mutluluk Zamanı and for Acı Tatlı Ekşi (2017), in which he also starred. Later credits include Kerem in the film Cebimdeki Yabancı (2018), Demir Göktürk in the series Kızım, Sultan Melikşah in Uyanış: Büyük Selçuklu (2020), Tolga in Dünyayla Benim Aramda (2022) and Evren Yalkın across the three seasons of Bahar, which ended late in 2025.
