Burak Deniz — Biography

Burak Deniz is a Turkish actor and model born on February 17, 1991, in Istanbul, who spent much of his childhood in Izmit. He studied Art History at Çanakkale Onsekiz Mart University and made his screen debut in the 2011 series Kolej Günlüğü, later appearing in youth productions such as Medcezir and Tatlı Küçük Yalancılar (2015).

His breakthrough came in 2016 with the role of Murat Sarsılmaz in the romantic comedy Aşk Laftan Anlamaz, while he also played Mert Alkan in Gecenin Kraliçesi around the same period. In 2017 he starred alongside Hazal Kaya in the drama Bizim Hikaye, where his portrayal of Barış Aktan cemented his popularity and earned him the best television actor award presented by Adnan Menderes University.

On the big screen he played Ozan in Arada (2018) and Semih in the Netflix original Kal (2022). His later television work includes Celal Kün in the hit series Maraşlı (2021), Asaf in the Disney+ series The Ignorant Angels, Maran in the Netflix series Şahmaran (2023), and Kenan Öztürk in the murder mystery drama Bambaşka Biri. In 2025 he appeared as Sina Bora in the film Umami and as Ertan Aydın in the series Sahtekarlar.
