Burcu Esmersoy — Biography

Born Kamile Burcu Esmersoy on 2 October 1976 in İstanbul, she graduated from the Tourism Management Department of İstanbul University and represented Turkey at the 1997 Miss International pageant in Japan.

She began her media career as a sports presenter and reporter, later winning a Golden Butterfly trophy as the country's top female TV host, and has presented shows including Survivor, Popstar and Komedi Türkiye. She has also acted in the series Dedektif Memoli and Çocuklar Duymasın, and currently co-hosts the programme Dünya Güzellerim alongside Bülent Ersoy, Safiye Soyman and Banu Alkan.
