Doğaç Yıldız — Biography
Doğaç Yıldız has moved from child acting to a career as a theatre-trained television and film actor. Many viewers still remember him as Efe in İki Aile; today he plays Mustafa in Güller ve Günahlar.
Born in Üsküdar as the only child of state-theatre actors, he lived in Trabzon with his family until the age of four. He began acting at eight in the film Babamı Hırsızlar Çaldı and at ten moved to television with Tatlı Hayat, led by Türkan Şoray and Haluk Bilginer. İki Aile (2006) made him widely recognised. He then graduated from the Theatre Department of Mimar Sinan Fine Arts University and turned to adult roles: Şehzade Kasım in Muhteşem Yüzyıl Kösem, Yiğit in Yasak Elma from 2018, and Levent in the film Her Şey Seninle Güzel. In cinema he appeared in İyi Oyun, and the international film I Am You, in which he has a role, had its world premiere at the Rome Film Festival. In 2024 he played Tufan in Korkma Ben Yanındayım and in 2025 Kerim in Umami.
He has also worked on stage: his performance in Woyzeck earned the Best Young Talent award at the 2015-2016 Ekin Yazın Dostları Awards. In March 2026 he proposed to his partner in front of the pyramids in Egypt, and the couple became engaged in July.
