Doğan Akdoğan was born in 1987 in Çankırı.

He received acting training at the Pera Academy of Fine Arts.

Doğan Akdoğan, who first appeared on screen with a Domino's Pizza commercial, acted in commercials for Avea, Hepsiburada.com and Avon.

Doğan Akdoğan had his first acting experience with the series Huzurum Kalmadı, in which he appeared in 2011; he acted in the series Poyraz Karayel, Beni Böyle Sev and Leyla ile Mecnun, and appeared in the TV programmes Güldür Güldür and Buyur Burdan Bak.

In the series Lise Devriyesi, broadcast on Trt, he shares the lead role with Mehmet Ozan Dolunay, İsmail Ege Şaşmaz and Bahar Şahin, and portrays the character of Meriç.

Doğan Akdoğan also stepped into the world of cinema by appearing in the film Eyvah Eyvah 3 in 2014.
