Umut Kurt — Biography

Umut Kurt was born in 1981 in Erzincan.

After completing his education at the Müjdat Gezen Sanat Merkezi, he joined the ranks of the Beşiktaş Kültür Merkezi actors.

Umut Kurt had his first acting experience with the series Metropol Kabusu, in which he appeared in 2003; he has taken part in many projects such as İtirazım Var, Beni Böyle Sev, Tatar Ramazan, Mor Menekşeler, Gönülçelen, Hatırla Sevgili and Bir Demet Tiyatro.

He is part of the cast of the series Payitaht Abdülhamid, broadcast on TRT, in which he shares the lead with Özlem Conker, Bülent İnal, Ezgi Eyüboğlu and Akın Akınözü, and he portrays the character Kolağası Celal.

Umut Kurt also stepped into the world of cinema with the films Çanakkale Yolun Sonu, Beynelmilel and Organize İşler.
