A Bouquet of Theatre (Bir Demet Tiyatro) (translated)

Bir Demet Tiyatro grew out of a New Year's Eve 1994 special called "MTV-Meclis TV" on Star TV and went on to become a recurring show filmed in the style of a stage play. Yılmaz Erdoğan wrote the scripts and BKM produced the series, which its own production company describes as one of Turkey's first sitcoms performed before a live studio audience.

The show follows a working-class Istanbul family and the people around them with a comic touch, centering on the friction between the Çıtır family's brash, unemployed thirtysomething son Mükremin and his sharp-tongued, clever sister Lütfiye. Each weekly episode was shot in front of a live audience, giving the broadcast the feel of an actual theatre performance.

Demet Akbağ and Yılmaz Erdoğan lead the cast, with Zerrin Sümer, Erdoğan Dikmen and Serhat Özcan also featured. Running intermittently across eight seasons, the series ended after its 156th episode.
