Doğu Demirkol — Biography

Doğu Demirkol was born in 1985 in Ankara. He completed his education in the Department of Computer Engineering. He first appeared on screen in Acun Ilıcalı's talent show Yetenek Sizsiniz, but did not reach the final. He later managed to draw attention with the funny posts he shared on social media; however, after meeting Murat Gençoğlu, a member of the BKM team, he succeeded in making a name for himself on the Güldür Güldür stage. Frequently in the spotlight with his recent shows, Doğu Demirkol's stand-up performances play to sold-out houses. In 2017 he stepped into the world of cinema with the film Ölümlü Dünya, and in 2018 he took part in the feature film Ahlat Ağacı.
