Hakan Eratik — Biography

Hakan Eratik has been a fixture of Turkish television drama since the mid-2000s, and reached a wide audience as Alihan Öztuna in the FOX series Kalbimdeki Deniz. Alongside acting, he has a background in presenting and modelling.

He studied computing in high school and enrolled at university, but left when he settled on acting. Between 1996 and 2002 he worked as a presenter and programme producer, then turned to photo-modelling and modelling. His first screen part came in 2005 as Tolga in Kanal D's Ödünç Hayat. It was followed by Sırça Köşk (Aziz Derman), Geniş Zamanlar (Ahmet) and Sessiz Gemiler (Talat); Sürgün Hayatlar, Cam Kırıkları, Bitmeyen Şarkı and Huzur Sokağı also belong to this steady run of television work. In cinema he appeared in Yüreğine Sor, Bekle Beni Yarın, Bir Gece and Evlenmeden Olmaz.

In 2014 he joined the cast of Umutsuz Ev Kadınları and appeared in Filinta and Kara Kutu. After Kalbimdeki Deniz (2016-2018) came Üvey Anne and Exxen's Olağan Şüpheliler (2021). He married actress Yeşim Salkım in 2009; they have a daughter and divorced in 2015.
