Leyla Tanlar — Biography

Leyla Tanlar is an actress who started at sixteen as Cansu in Paramparça and rose to her first lead as Şirin in FOX's Ferhat ile Şirin. She then appeared in Show TV's Güzel Günler and Siyah Kalp, and in 2026 she makes her stage debut in the play Job.

A graduate of the Italian High School, Tanlar studied Media and Visual Arts at Koç University and trained as an actor at Akademi 35Buçuk. Paramparça, which ran on Star TV from 2014 to 2017, brought her to notice, and in the same year she received Gelişim University's Most Promising Actor award. After a supporting part in Şahin Tepesi, she took her first leading role in 2019 in Ferhat ile Şirin. A supporting role in the Disney+ series Kaçış was also announced for her.

She went on to play Selma in Güzel Günler (2022-2023) and Sevilay in Siyah Kalp (2024-2025), and she appeared in the film Erken Kış. In 2026 she shares the stage with Sarp Akkaya in Job, a play with Broadway roots. She is engaged to the actor Burak Dakak, and the couple has given no firm wedding date.
