Necla Fide — Biography

Born Nejla Ural, Necla Fide is a Turkish film and television actress from Istanbul who has spent more than five decades on screen, largely in supporting and character roles. She began acting in 1975, during a period when adventure and erotic films were flourishing in Turkey's Yeşilçam industry, taking small parts in films such as Kara Murat Şeyh Gaffar'a Karşı and Kanun Gücü.

She became widely recognized for playing the queen in the 1982 film Dünyayı Kurtaran Adam, and went on to appear in Erkekçe, İdamlık, Nikah and Aşk Salıncağı in 1983 and in Kader, Gülçiçek and Sıcak Yatak in 1986. That same year she stepped back from film, remaining visible through modeling and television commercials.

She returned to the screen in 2008 with Issız Adam and Son Cellat, and in the years since has become a fixture of Turkish television as a supporting character actress, appearing in series including Akasya Durağı, Arka Sıradakiler, Kalp Ağrısı, Zengin Kız Fakir Oğlan, Güzel Çirkin, İstanbullu Gelin and Afili Aşk.
