Onur Bay — Biography

Onur Bay is a Turkish actor best known for playing Tekin, the son of Hüsnü Çoban, in the Kanal D police series Arka Sokaklar for roughly fifteen years, starting as a child, so that viewers watched him grow up on screen. He now appears as Yiğit in the historical drama Kuruluş: Orhan.

Originally from Ordu, Bay grew up in Istanbul and studied cinema and television at İstanbul Kültür University. He first acted in 2005, as Orhan in the series Köpek, and joined Arka Sokaklar a year later; during his years on that series he also appeared in the 2010 film Çakallarla Dans. Leaving the show in the summer of 2021 was the first big turn in his career. He went on to take a part in Son Yaz, led the Disney+ series Kaçış as İlker in 2022, and played Bülent in Kirli Sepeti.

His 2025 casting in Kuruluş: Orhan reunited him, twenty years on, with Uğur Pektaş, a colleague from Arka Sokaklar.
