Laundry Basket (Kirli Sepeti) (translated)

Kirli Sepeti ("Laundry Basket") is a Turkish drama series produced by Medyapım that premiered on 24 September 2023. It was directed by Ece Erdek Koçoğlu, with a script co-written by Merve Girgin Aytekin, Nermin Yıldırım, Nil Güleç Ünsal, and Özlem İnci Hekimoğlu.

The story follows women employed as cleaning staff in a wealthy household; the suicide of housekeeper Meryem sends shockwaves through those around her, including her university-student daughter Elkgül and fellow employee Songül. The lead roles are shared by Ayça Bingöl, Ceren Moray, and Cansu Tosun, while Erdal Küçükkömürcü and Kubilay Penbeklioğlu appear as Cihangir Demir and Mümtaz, respectively.

Running for two seasons and 40 episodes, the series concluded with a finale on 3 November 2024, having aired on NOW as well as MBC 4.
