Seda Bakan — Biography

Seda Bakan is a Turkish actress, born on October 10, 1985, in Gebze, Kocaeli. After graduating from Sakarya University's Department of Foreign Trade, she studied acting at the TÜRVAK Cinema-TV Training Center. Early in her career she worked as a television presenter, then appeared in commercials and in series such as Pars Narkoterör and Sana Mecburum.

She reached a wide audience as Eda in the crime series Behzat Ç. Bir Ankara Polisiyesi (2010), a role she carried over to the feature films Behzat Ç. Seni Kalbime Gömdüm (2011) and Behzat Ç. Ankara Yanıyor (2013). Her performance as Feyza in the comedy series Kardeş Payı (2014) further strengthened her popularity. Arif V 216 (2018) ranked among the most-watched films of all time at the Turkish box office.

Bakan appeared in the series Bana Sevmeyi Anlat (2016) and Mucize Doktor (2019), and portrayed Leyla in the Netflix production Zeytin Ağacı (2022). She continued her comedy work with Gelin Takımı (2024) and its sequel. The actress married musician Ali Erel in 2014.
