Sedef Avcı — Biography

Sedef Avcı was born in 1982 in İstanbul.

She completed her education in the Labour Economics Department of Kocaeli University.

She first took acting lessons at the Mahşeri Cümbüş Company and later from İpek Bilgin.

In 1997 she became the winner of Elite Model Look Turkey; in 2001 she represented our country in the Miss Universe pageant.

Sedef Avcı, who began acting in 1997, shared the lead role for the first time with Kıvanç Tatlıtuğ in the series Menekşe ile Halil in 2007.

Bedel Boynu Bükükler, Mazi Kalbimde Yaradır, Arka Sokaklar, Umut Yolcuları and Yaprak Dökümü are among the series she has appeared in.

She is part of the cast of the series Evlat Kokusu, broadcast on Kanal D, in which she shares the lead with Hande Soral, Barış Kılıç, Yeşim Salkım and Murat Han, and she portrays the character Zeynep.
