Şefika Ümit Tolun — Biography

Şefika Ümit Tolun was born in 1961 in İzmir. She completed her education in the Theatre Acting Department of the Faculty of Fine Arts at Dokuz Eylül University. The master actress, who began her artistic career with theatre and took part in many plays, has appeared in many projects such as Kara Ekmek, Kurt Seyit ve Şura, Bir Çocuk Sevdim, Sırat and Nazlı Yarim. She plays the character Fatma in the series Gülperi, broadcast on Show TV, whose cast includes names such as Nurgül Yeşilçay, Timuçin Esen, Tarık Pabuçcuoğlu, Ece Sükan, Burak Dakak, Onur Bilge, Gülçin Kültür Şahin, Şefika Ümit Tolun, Ezgi Gör and Emir Özyakışır. Şefika Ümit Tolun has also taken her place in the world of cinema by appearing in the films Kurtlar Vadisi Terör, Av Mevsimi, Ateş ve Su and Halam Geldi.
