Sevda Erginci — Biography

Sevda Erginci is a Turkish television actress of the younger generation, best known as Zeynep Yılmaz in Yasak Elma, where she stayed with the cast through to the finale. Her film Bir Anne Hakkında, in which she shares the lead, had its world premiere at the Shanghai Film Festival in 2026.

She met the stage at 15 in Semaver Kumpanya's Paki ve Sevgi Çiçekleri and then took acting lessons at Kenter Theatre. Her first significant television job came in 2012 with Koyu Kırmızı on Star TV, alongside Özgü Namal and Ozan Güven; the same year she appeared in the period drama Veda. As Ayşe in Karagül, she became a familiar face of a long-running series, playing the character across 125 episodes. She made her film debut in 2015 in Onur Ünlü's Uzaklarda Arama and moved up to lead roles in the youth series Hayat Bazen Tatlıdır and Ver Elini Aşk.

Later she widened her range across genres and eras as İpek Gencer in Sevgili Geçmiş, Turna Hatun in Uyanış: Büyük Selçuklu, Ezo Bozdağlı in Elkızı, Zeynep Gören in Seni Kalbime Sakladım and Özge Günay in Kül Masalı. She has received a best new actress award from İKÜ and a best debut award from Medipol. In September 2025 she married architect Efe Saydut.
