A Sky Full of Stars for a Roof

A Sky Full of Stars for a Roof (original title: ...e per tetto un cielo di stelle) is a 1968 Italian Spaghetti Western comedy directed by Giulio Petroni. Franco Giraldi was originally set to direct, but after moving on to another project he was replaced by Petroni, for whom this became his second western. The film drew particular praise for its opening sequence, which several critics described as one of the finest in the entire spaghetti western genre.

Starring Giuliano Gemma, Mario Adorf and Magda Konopka, the 100-minute film features music by Ennio Morricone and was produced by Gianni Hecht Lucari. It was released internationally under various titles, including Amigos, Ciel de plomb and Por techo, las estrellas, and some of its footage later appeared as a film-within-the-film in Giuliano Montaldo's 1978 television thriller Closed Circuit.
