Abbas in Flower (Çiçek Abbas)

Çiçek Abbas is a 1982 Turkish comedy-drama directed by Sinan Çetin from a screenplay by Yavuz Turgul. The story follows the rivalry between minibus driver's assistant Abbas (İlyas Salman) and his boss, Şakir Serengil (Şener Şen); dreaming of owning his own minibus, Abbas buys a used one after being fired and becomes Şakir's rival on the Alibey route.

With Ayşen Gruda rounding out the cast as Şükriye, the film turns its rivalry-into-friendship story into broad comedy while offering a warm portrait of the era's shared-taxi culture.
