Kardeşim Benim 1 (My Brother) (Kardeşim Benim)

Kardeşim Benim (My Brother) is a 2016 Turkish drama-comedy directed by Mert Baykal and written by Zafer Külünk. A joint production of TAFF Pictures and BRK'S Production, it premiered at Kanyon Shopping Center before opening in cinemas on January 15, 2016.

The story follows two musician brothers who have not spoken in years. Hakan, thirty, is a calm and enigmatic alternative music star who tries to keep his distance from the tabloids. His younger brother Ozan is his opposite: a cheerful, sociable pop celebrity. Having lost their mother at a young age, the two grew up traveling from town to town with their father, a wedding singer. When their father placed all responsibility for little Ozan on Hakan's shoulders, the imbalance gradually eroded their bond. They even visit their ailing father at separate times, and only his funeral finally brings them together. The will he leaves behind sends both their lives in an unexpected direction.

Burak Özçivit plays Hakan and Murat Boz plays Ozan, with Aslı Enver sharing the lead roles. A sequel, Kardeşim Benim 2, followed in 2017.
