The Tango Player
The Tango Player (Der Tangospieler) is a 1991 German drama film directed by Roland Gräf. Adapted from Christoph Hein's 1989 novella of the same name, it was produced by DEFA Studio Babelsberg GmbH in cooperation with the Swiss company CSM Film-AG and Westdeutscher Rundfunk Köln (ARD).
Starring Michael Gwisdek and Corinna Harfouch, the 96-minute film was entered into the 41st Berlin International Film Festival.
