Atomised (original German title Elementarteilchen, also known as The Elementary Particles) is a 2006 German drama film written and directed by Oskar Roehler and produced by Oliver Berben and Bernd Eichinger. It is a loose adaptation of Michel Houellebecq's controversial 1998 novel, relocating the story from Paris to Germany, where it was shot in Berlin and Thuringia, and giving it an alternative ending.

The film follows the lives of half-brothers Michael and Bruno, who could hardly be more different: Michael becomes a molecular biologist more interested in genes than women, while Bruno is obsessed with his sexual desires until he meets Christiane, just as Michael reconnects with his youthful love Annabelle. Starring Moritz Bleibtreu, Christian Ulmen, Martina Gedeck, Franka Potente and Nina Hoss, the film premiered in February 2006 at the 56th Berlin International Film Festival, where Bleibtreu won the Silver Bear for Best Actor.
