Aydoğan Temel — Biography
Aydoğan Temel (born 1966, Balıkesir), graduated from Mimar Sinan University Conservatory Drama Department, is an actor and dubbing artist.
Since 1983, he has performed dubbing and directing work in television series, animated films, feature films, documentaries, and commercials. Among the famous actors he frequently voices are: William Macy, John Malkovich, Gary Oldman, Kevin Spacey, Tcheky Karyo, Gerard Depardeiu. The characters he generally voices are usually negative, perverted, comedic, or problematic men. Aydoğan Temel is the external voice of the magazine program Pazar Keyfi', which was broadcast on Show TV for a period. Beyond the magazine voicing work done until that time, he created a difference and although criticized by some segments, he gained the appreciation of viewers and his imitations emerged. Later, on the Uçankuş program, Aydoğan Temel, a mysterious voice that had remained off-screen until then, appeared on screen and hosted this program.
He performed the Turkish dubbing of Seong Gi-Hun in the South Korean series Squid Game.
With Kamran Usluer's statement "We are no longer dubbing. We are only providing voices," he defended that dubbing is not voicing, but actually dialogue, and therefore defines himself as "dialogue expert" or dubbing artist. Voicing refers to matching sound with the film. In 2011, he wrote the screenplay for and starred in the feature film Komik Bir Aşk Hikayesi. He also appeared in the television series Yalancısın Sen, which aired on Atv in 2010.
Aydoğan participated as a guest actor in the 2023 series Kuzgun: Dipsiz Karanlık.
