Çağatay Ulusoy — Biography

Çağatay Ulusoy is a Turkish actor and model born in Istanbul on 23 September 1990. While attending Istanbul University's Faculty of Forestry, he won the Best Model of Turkey competition in 2010; he then studied acting with Ayla Algan and continued his training at Akademi 35 Buçuk. Born to a Bosnian mother and a father of Bulgarian-Turkish descent, he acquired Bulgarian citizenship in 2025.

He began acting in 2011 as Emir Sarrafoğlu in the series Adını Feriha Koydum and made his cinema debut the same year in Anadolu Kartalları. Between 2013 and 2015 he became widely known as Yaman Koper in Medcezir, a Turkish remake of The O.C., and in 2015 he starred in the film Delibal. In 2016 he shared the lead in İçerde alongside Aras Bulut İynemli, and from 2018 to 2020 he headlined Hakan: Muhafız (The Protector), the first Turkish Netflix original series.

He later starred in the film Paper Lives (Kağıttan Hayatlar, 2021) and the series Terzi (The Tailor, 2023); in 2024 he appeared in Kübra, A True Gentleman and Gaddar, followed by Eşref Rüya and Uykucu in 2025. His honors include a Golden Butterfly Award.
