Harry-Max — Biography
Born Maxime Louis Charles Dichamp, Harry-Max was one of French cinema's most durable supporting players: born on 23 November 1901 in the 10th arrondissement of Paris, he was cast in well over eighty films across a career running from 1938 to 1975.
He is best remembered for his role in François Truffaut's Stolen Kisses (1968), alongside Delphine Seyrig and Michael Lonsdale, and for the comedy Hibernatus (1969) from the same period. His filmography also includes French productions such as Parisli Kız (1957), Le Beau Serge (1958) and Comment épouser un premier ministre (1964). He died in Ivry-sur-Seine on 13 March 1979.
