Jacques Mathou — Biography
French actor Jacques Mathou, born in 1953, studied business administration at HEC Paris before turning to acting, making his screen debut in the 1976 film The Wing or the Thigh. He is best known for his performance opposite Dominique Pinon and Rufus in Delicatessen (1991).
Through the 1980s he appeared regularly in French productions such as Betty Blue, Poker, L'été en pente douce and Le moustachu, and took a role in Patrice Leconte's Ridicule (1996); later in his career he appeared in The Visitors II: The Corridors of Time (1998). Alongside acting, he now works as a documentary filmmaker, releasing his films through his own YouTube channel.
